What is the CIBER-SHUBE-Europass?
The “CIBER-SHUBE-Europass Program” provides free access to a selected group of the best Spanish startups/innovative SMEs/scaleups in the field of Cybersecurity in the internationalization stage, (between 15 and 30 startups in total during the project) to 1 of the most prestigious European events that can connect with more than 1,000 important European/international funding sources (investors, corporations, public administrations…)/successful entrepreneurs/other relevant actors, such as media representatives.
Selection process: Spanish startups/innovative SMEs/scaleups will be selected through the CIBER-SHUBE project activity pitch competition, such as, for example, at the STARTUP OLÉ Fair or CIBER-SHUBE forums, as well as through calls for participation and evaluation processes of their metrics (sales made, investment achieved, internationalization, etc.). Jury members for pitch competitions will consist of experts (e.g. mentors, investors, corporate representatives, media, etc.). Each year the best startups/innovative SMEs/scaleups will be selected and invited to participate in Europass. They must demonstrate their interest in attending European events, so that in their presentations they include information about what they hope to achieve at these European events, metrics and what type of contact they want to develop there, etc.

The CYL-HUB-Europass programme will provide free access to a group of 10/20 micro SMEs, Startups or Self-Employed in the internationalisation stage, from the different local/provincial ecosystems. At least one micro SME/Startup/Self-Employed from each province will attend one of the most prestigious European events where they will be able to connect with more than 500-1.000 important European/international funding sources (investors, corporations, public administrations…), 500-1.000 successful self-employed entrepreneurs and other relevant actors, such as media representatives. The first European event that the winners will attend with CYL-HUB will be DES, 13-15 June 2023.
The micro SMEs/Startups/Self-Employed will be selected through a pitch competition at the international Startup OLÉ fair and at some local/provincial events by a jury of experts.
All participating startups will be able to make their presentations in a dedicated area of 80 m2.

- QUEVANA (Segovia). “En Quevana hacemos unos quesos de la leche, pero sin leche. Producimos quesos semicurados ecológicos hechos a base de anacardos que, además de estar tremendos, cuidan de tu salud, del planeta y de los animales. Nuestros quesos solo tienen 3 ingredientes base: anacardos crudos, sal del Himalaya y probióticos. Representan un nuevo tipo de queso con un sabor espectacular y grandes propiedades nutricionales gracias a sus ingredientes. Somos una empresa joven afincada en Segovia y nuestra misión es ayudar en la transición hacia un sistema alimentario mejor ofreciendo productos que, aparte de estar tremendos, sean saludables para las personas, sostenibles para el planeta y saquen a los animales de la ecuación productiva”

- IOTHING (Burgos). Esta startup se autodefine como el primer manómetro analógico inteligente.
- Sparker (León). Se trata de una aplicación que permite, mediante mensajes geolocalizados en el mapa, conectar con el entorno y con el resto del mundo. Esta startup permite habilitar una aplicación en el móvil para geolocalizar las experiencias de los usuarios, conectar con gente con sus mismos gustos en el mundo rural, conocer planes de ocio y recrear su propio mapa con todos sus recuerdos.
- EntreSetas (Palencia). EntreSetas es un proyecto dedicado al cultivo y comercialización de setas gourmet con cero impacto medioambiental. Los envases están realizados con materiales reciclables y libres de plásticos y todos sus productos son plenamente aptos para alimentaciones veganas.
- Iberbox (Salamanca). Es una plataforma en la nube dedicada al almacenamiento seguro y las comunicaciones confidenciales. Se trata de ubn SaaS que ofrece servicios de almacenamiento seguro, comunicación de datos e información de forma confidencial, con encriptación de extremo a extremo controlada por el usuario. Está enfocada a profesionales, empresas y Administraciones/organizaciones.
- EUROPEA.RED (Segovia). Sus promotores destacan que se trata de un mercado de consultores de financiación pública para pymes innovadoras. Therminer aboga por el reciclaje de la energía desperdiciada en los centros de datos y han logrado diseñar una solución de red energética descentralizada, circular y sostenible para el blockchain y la computación en la nube, reduciendo el 30% de la energía consumida y reciclando el 90% lista para usar.
- Therminer (Soria). Esta startup soriana fabrica equipos de refrigeración líquida para sistemas de computación, como los que se puedan destinar a centros de datos, minería de criptomonedas o grandes servidores.
- Kampanera (Valladolid). Fabricante de Kombucha, bebida funcional que se elabora fermentando té y que constituye una alternativa saludable a los refrescos tradicionales.
- CosmoRuralistas (Zamora). Asociación Nacional de Coliving y Coworking. Su base son los alojamientos de turismo rural creando una red de coliving y coworking para atraer nuevos pobladores y cosmoruralitas.
